Johnny Justice is a Staffordshire bull terrier whose start to life was tough. He was part of Michael Vick’s fighting ring and was forced to fight and suffer abuse before he was saved. Johnny Justice and most of the other rescued fighting dogs were rehabilitated and adopted out, which speaks volumes about their resilience. Johnny has gone on to even greater things.(dog walking services nyc)

Not only has he recovered from his fighting days, but you could say he has done so with flying colors. According to Examiner.com, Johnny Justice is now a nationally recognized therapy dog and has worked with Paws for Tales a children’s reading program run by Cris Cohen. Despite Johnny’s amazing demeanor and qualifications, he has still faced adversary. In fact, Cohen terminated his association with Paws for Tales after Patricia Harding, a librarian in Burlingame, California, banned pit bulls from her library. She had never even met Johnny.

Johnny hasn’t let that stop him either and he has recently been awarded GUND’s Most Beautiful Dog in the Country award, which he won through a Facebook contest. We think this amazing pup deserves the title! GUND is also going to make Johnny a plush toy so little kids (and adults) can have their very own Johnny Justice. Can we preorder these?
We love happy endings like this!
