In Australia’s Barossa Valley, an adorable dog story has surfaced in the media. According to the Washington Post, a dalmatian has adopted an orphaned spotted lamb that looks strikingly like a dalmatian. The dog’s owner explains that she was in season and just took to this little lamb, grooming it and making sure its face was clean.(dog walking services nyc)

The owner of the dog and the sheep is toying with calling the spotted lamb a “sheep-matian” or other such combination name to encompass it’s amazing spots that he says are very rare. Watch the heartwarming video where you’ll see the dalmatian mother following around her new adopted offspring, licking it and doing what dog mothers do. The owner notes that it doesn’t matter how old you are, this kind of thing just makes people happy.
