Maddie the rescued coonhound is the loyal companion of Theron Humphrey, a photographer from Atlanta, who decided to travel the 50 states. Theron told People Magazine that Maddie is always right beside him when he is taking pictures of other subjects, so he decided to make her the center of attention. While some dogs can jump, spin around or dance, Maddie has unique talents: patience and the ability to stand still on weird things. She’s done it across all 50 states and the pictures are amazing. Not only is her ability to balance impressive, but also Theron’s photos are often breathtaking (nyc dog walking).

Maddie On Things

Maddie has perched on top of basketball hoops, bicycles, trees, dinosaurs and so much more to make for an amazing still photo documentary of her trip around the country. Theron has even created a blog called Maddie On Things, where you can see her in all of her balancing glory. How does she do it?
