London, a determined pit bull, has had to learn to walk on two legs. According to the Daily Mail, he fell out of a building, plummeting three floors onto pavement, broke his front legs and received burns from the hot tarmac. Sadly, his owner at the time left these ailments untreated. London was only six months old by the time he went through all this!

Eventually London arrived at the Human Society of Del Norte in California and, finally, he got the treatment that he needed from a specialist thanks to Amanda Giese. Giese is the founder and president of Panda Paws, a non-profit that helps abused dogs, ‘unadoptable’ dogs and pups with medical issues. Giese and the veterinarians helping this poor dog named him London for his perseverance that made them all think of the Olympic Games.(dog walking services nyc)
London had his fractured front legs amputated and was set to be fitted for a wheelchair but before this could happen, he, amazingly, started walking on his hind quarters. According to his vets though, he will need some wheels to take the strain off his back, but this act was another show of his determination and ability to bounce back. Without his wheelchair, Giese says that he scoots his body around using his back legs and uses his face as a stabilizer, somewhat like a tripod.
Currently, London is recovering form surgery and will undergo swimming and ball therapy to help rebuild his strength. Once his recovery is through, he will be adopted out to a wonderful home that can care for his special needs.
Best of luck, London!
