We all know how much pooches love being in the car right?! Well these dogs are doing things a little bit differently and reaping all the fun! In a new documentary that launched this month, filmmakers Eric and Geneva Ristau are taking viewers along for the ride and opening eyes on just how much fun dogs have on the road with their owners. AND it’s all for a great cause! We couldn’t be more excited!

America Sidecar Dogs

Sit, Stay, Ride – The Story of America’s Sidecar Dogs is the incredible story of 15 dogs and 18 humans on a 3-wheel adventure across America. This inspiring documentary film is a must-watch for any canine enthusiast. You won’t believe the amazing adventures these guys get up to and the great fun these doggie co-pilots are having on the road. But that’s enough for us, let’s watch the trailer!

Now I bet you can’t wait to watch the entire documentary, right?! You can watch the film by buying the DVD or downloading the full film on Vimeo On-Demand. Did we mention that 25% of all proceeds will be donated to the American Humane Society as well as other animal welfare organizations? Well, it’s true. So there’s even more reason to enjoy this great new documentary this October!(dog walking services nyc)

What we really love about this documentary is that the whole thing was funded on Kickstarter, making it 100% independent with a great cause in mind. The story also highlights the wonderful relationship between dog and owner, bringing to light the importance of adopting rescue dogs and just how much of a part of the family they become. Not only will 25% of all sales be donated to animal welfare organizations, 100% of all proceeds from screenings will also be donated. Why not host a screening in your town? It’s the perfect film for a fall movie night.
