Best Dog Breeds For New York City: Yesterday, the New York Post reported on the most popular breeds in New York City and it seems that New Yorkers still have a taste for the small dogs but aren’t forgetting their larger cousins. Almost half of this list is taken up with bigger pooches which might come as a surprise to some considering the size of the average New Yorker’s living space. Dogs adapt, though, which is part of what makes them so great! Anyway, we love all of the breeds listed. Each are unique and awesome! Of course, mixed-breeds are not included here and obviously there are a ton of equally amazing mixes roaming this great city too (nyc dog walking).
