If you’re a beer lover but sometimes find yourself without a human drinking buddy, you’ll be happy to know your dog can fill that void! Now, there’s Bowser Beer, a non-alcoholic beverage made for pups to enjoy. Bowser Beer is based in Seattle and was started by Jenny Brown who began by making doggie pretzels at local fairs before she came up with the idea to make beer. While normal beer is poisonous to dogs – the hops are toxic and alcohol is bad for pooches – this beer is a non-bubbly, meat-broth mixture that contains barley. It even has some vitamins like glucosamine that promote joint health.

The beer comes in two flavors: Beefy Brown Ale and chicken-flavored Cock-a-Doodle-Brew. Brown said that after the beer hit the market, it was an immediate hit and she can provide custom labels with a your very own dog printed on the bottle. If you buy your own labels, the beer gets a catchy name to match like “I Don’t Give a Shih-Tzu Brew,” for that particular breed. At one point, Bowser Beer even made a batch called “I Only Have Eyes for You Brew” dedicated to guide dogs.(dog walking services nyc)

It seems that the doggie beer makes a good treat alternative! The dog beer can be poured into a bowl, frozen into ice cubes or added to food. To grab a six pack, check out the Bowser Beer website.
