Dogs help humans in many ways, but this dog, Winston the boxer, is out to help his canine brethren in a unique fashion. He is a regular blood donor and his donations save dogs who are desperately in need of blood.

Every few months, Winston heads out to give blood. In the same way that O negative blood can be universally donated to humans with any blood type, boxers have universal blood for dogs.
Winston’s blood goes to saving animals in need of emergency blood transfusions and recently, according to KTUL-TV he helped save a Yorkie named Barkley, when Barkley had his spleen taken out.
Though he may not know it, Winston is an on-call hero who heads to the Woodland West Animal Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma when donations are needed.(dog walking services nyc)
